Some Background

Justin “Curtis” Kirk, from Tyler, Texas, has been a leading professional in television and radio broadcast engineering since 2004. Over the course of more than two decades, he has established himself as a skilled engineer, inventor, and advocate for American-made innovation. Kirk is an active member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)—organizations that reflect his lifelong dedication to the advancement of technical excellence and professional standards.

Kirk’s early interest in electronics and innovation took shape while he was earning his degree in Electronics Engineering at World College in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was there that he first developed the concept and design for The Music Mate® Electronic Coaster, a creative and functional integration of technology and entertainment. This invention marked the beginning of his journey as an independent inventor committed to merging creativity with engineering precision.

In 2014, Kirk founded PlayMate Enterprise, where he continues to serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company was founded on his deeply held conviction that true innovation must be “Engineered,” “Designed,” and “Manufactured” in America. His mission for PlayMate Enterprise is not only to bring inventive products to market but to revitalize America’s capacity for complete electronics manufacturing—from design through production—here at home.

Recognizing the lack of access to modern electronic manufacturing in his region, Kirk invested in developing PlayMate Enterprise’s own advanced production facilities. This effort not only enabled the domestic production of The Music Mate® Electronic Coaster, but also created new opportunities for independent inventors and small developers to produce their designs in the U.S.A. with professional-grade resources and support.

Kirk’s dedication to innovation has continued to evolve through his research and development in interactive systems and digital integration. His recent award, U.S. Patent No. US12380659B1 – “Augmented Reality Digital Object Image Placement and Anchoring System and Process,” represents a major step forward in the convergence of augmented reality (AR), blockchain technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). This patent expands upon the technological foundation of The Music Mate®, offering a system for anchoring and interacting with digital objects in real-world environments, thereby making augmented reality more affordable, scalable, and accessible.

By incorporating blockchain security protocols, Kirk’s design provides a framework for authenticated digital interactions and the secure creation of digital currency bases within AR platforms. When combined with AI-enhanced interface logic, the system enables users to experience adaptive, creative, and intelligent digital environments. It also introduces enhanced safety and access control policies, offering child-safe and family-oriented user experiences in augmented reality applications.

Together, these technological breakthroughs have culminated in the development of a revolutionary platform now known as VisionLync™ (short for “Vision Linked & Synced”)—an advanced augmented reality ecosystem that unites his patented systems into one cohesive and intelligent framework. VisionLync™ integrates real-world object recognition, blockchain verification, and AI-driven interaction, providing users with a secure, synchronized, and creative digital interface that links vision, motion, and data in real time.

Through his ongoing work at PlayMate Enterprise, Justin “Curtis” Kirk continues to champion the rebirth of American electronics innovation, blending traditional engineering craftsmanship with modern digital intelligence. His vision—embodied through The Music Mate®, his patented technologies, and VisionLync™—is to create a future where creativity, security, and connectivity are seamlessly linked and synced, powering the next generation of interactive technology.
